It’s exciting to let this one out into the world, ‘Faceless Angel’ featuring the vocals of Alia Seror-O’Neill aka @alias.error

Late last year a mutual friend of ours @krisbaha mentioned to me the idea of connecting Alia and I as she was moving back to Australia. Being a big fan of Alia’s work, I immediately had 2 tracks in mind that I thought would be the perfect fit as I was working on a new album. Sometimes timing is everything.

Alia came down to Naarm in late January, and across two intense days of writing and recording, we managed to capture a wonderful creative synergy. Faceless Angel showcases Alia’s seminal and spellbinding vocals and lyrics and I’m super grateful to Alia for trusting and working with me. Thank you also to @ex____ponto____for this incredible video and @wnsalu for the timeless artwork.

Rich atmospheres and angelic vocals meet blast beats and anguished shrieks, lead by Berlin via Sydney’s Alias Error – a singer, songwriter and DJ known for her eponymous and timeless debut album ‘a.s.o’ released to critical acclaim in 2023. Alia’s signature hypnotic vocals speak of restraint and release, moving fluidly from the elegiac to the euphoric. Collaborations with RIP Swirl, JASSS & James K have further cemented her position as an uncompromising star spanning effortlessly between ethereal dream-pop to the more moodier corners of electronic spaces.

At the crossroads of the new punk-electronic movement, their music fuses powerful vocals, percussive beats, aggressive basslines and synth layers influenced by dance music, progressive trance, hard-hitting cold electronic sounds, techno, and industrial rock: a hybrid sound that reveals its full power on stage.
