LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA, FRENCH PAVILION
Venice, Italy
May, 2026
The French Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia presents in 2026 ‘Comme Saturne’ by Yto Barrada, curated by Myriam Ben Salah, under the support of the Institut français.
Rooted in textile as both material and language, the project unfolds as a space of attentive listening, where Saturn becomes a guiding figure for thinking time, labour and transmission. Between myth, craft and microhistories, the Pavilion invites visitors to slow down and engage with overlooked narratives and subtle forms of resistance.
ARTER handled the delegated production of the French Pavilion, with a Franco-Italian team dedicated to the production of international large-scale artistic and cultural events.
