Our Manchester campus recently underwent renovations to bring our students a brand new live gig space. 🎶

This space provides opportunities for our students to host gigs for their projects, and experience the live stage within a safe, comfortable environment.

Last week, the live space played host to our fully student-led public facing event, organised by our third year Live Sound students. From sound and ticketing to creative details, every element was planned and executed by the students themselves.

We’re excited to see how our students bring this space to life. 🤩

Inside the mind of a Senior Engineer 🎧

We sat down with @tobin_jones_ to talk about the craft behind great records. With 17+ years in recording, mixing, and immersive audio, we got the low down on how to book high profile artists into the studio, and why it’s more important than ever to be involved in the music industry.

@manamii.b brings us to stillness with a transcendent blend of piano-led ambient and instrumental composition. In this third of eight Saffron Sessions, the Japanese artist and @dbs_institute graduate layers subtle textures, moving listeners towards a deeper dimension.
