No Trespassing - my second single for my solo project, mpthy, is out today 🐦‍⬛ this track was born 5 years ago from the ig story of a friend I screenrecorded and sampled. it sat in my hard drive for 3 years until I found myself in the states on October 7th and got some inspiration for the lyrics. then, another year of sitting in the drive until it was finally mixed and mastered last year. for whatever reason I just never felt the need to release it, and didn’t feel it was time for it to be out in the world. but now, it all feels very timely.

And since the early moments of my djing journey, Andrew was always so supportive and encouraging without any barriers to entry, really demonstrating that his life path is to share love and healing to dance floors across the globe in every sound, shape, and form. His energy has manifested itself into Groovy Groovy, a beautiful DIY party and community curated with passion and soul. @dearmpthy est une artiste, productrice et DJ roumano-américaine basée à Paris. Son nom reflète son intention de développer et de maintenir l’empathie, et d’offrir un espace pour se recentrer sur soi-même et cultiver une attention radicale pour soi et pour les autres. Sur le plan sonore, elle traduit ce désir par la recherche d’une dualité entre ancrage et transcendance, rythmes lourds et mélodies éthérées et légères.
