Dance was the first place I felt seen and through the @mistycopelandfdn, we’re creating that same sense of belonging for kids across New York. With @dropbox powering the organization behind the scenes, our vision came to life for our very first Spring Benefit.

Fashion houses don’t usually let you look behind the curtain. This spring, Maison Margiela did.
Since 1988, the house has been building an archive of campaign images, atelier materials, and working documents. This April, they shared it with the world.
Maison Margiela/folders: four house codes, four cities across China, all in one Dropbox.
New files were added in real time as the project unfolded, culminating in an exhibition and show unlike anything else.

Sharing is what connects us. To each other. To ideas. To the work we’re building together. Because when an idea stops being yours alone, that’s when it comes to life.

My album “In the Last Hour of Light” is my first full-length in 15 years, and the whole thing is a reckoning with time, and how much of it has slipped through my fingers. I feel like I’ve been trying to find my way back to the center of who I am, and I’m so grateful to all of the people who worked with me to get there, and to @dropbox for their support. Thanks to @seanfstout for making this featurette. The album comes out Friday, April 24!
