trying to share new photos daily (digital+film) 🏴 🏳️🌈
happy to connect with other photographers! 💞 📷

Photography has been an on-and-off hobby for me for the last few years. In 2025, I barely even took any photos until mid-April. This was the year I was really able to connect with other photographers and feel a sense of community by going to photowalks and getting out of my comfort zone. (Thank you @nycphotostroll & @beersandcameras_ny folks, @juno.fpv, @natandhercam and others for organizing walks!). Thank you to all the awesome photographers I've met who have inspired me! (Thank you @eli.jacobson_
for being the first photographer I met this year who really blew me away with so much raw passion at such a young age. Thank you @rafalop.es
for inviting me out to take photos so often and sharing in the obsessiveness!)
It was the year I shot film again for the first time in 20 years and adopted tons of new cameras and toys to play with. It's been such a joy to experiment with rangefinders, TLRs, toy cameras and other novel light capturing devices (RIP to my bank account).
Still, every one of my top 20 photos were taken with my Nikon Zf, which is a camera that really makes me want to use it and takes photos I love. People always ask me what lenses I use, so here's a breakdown of this landscape orientation set:
✨ Nikkor Z 40/2 (25%)
✨ Laowa 35/0.95 (15%)
✨ Laowa 28/1.2 (15%)
✨ Nikkor Z 24-120/4 S (15%)
✨ 7Artisans 50/1.05 (10%)
✨ Voigtländer VM 35/1.2 IV (10%)
✨ Nikkor Z 14-30/4 (5%)
✨ Viltrox 20/2.8 (5%)
I would love to know which photo is your favorite! It's always interesting since other people usually have different picks than my own.

I would love to know which photo is your favorite! It's always interesting since other people usually have different picks than my own.

Despite the presence of mayonnaise and jelly sandwiches and a professor who was deadset on blinding an entire generation of students, our semesterly showcase event, Hostos Arcade, was a blast!

It was such a pleasure to witness this incredible performance by @vangelinebutoh folks at Dancefest (@danceparadenyc). I took a community Butoh class over 10 years ago and this has definitely rekindled my interest.
