Introducing: Native Video Playback 📺

Video playback becomes an integral part of the show workflow. Video files can now be dragged and dropped directly into playlists and handled like any other cue – even while a show is running!

Audio fade-ins and timing can be precisely aligned to the picture using Ovation’s active cue window, ensuring tight synchronization.

Ovation 12 supports all common video formats, with files easily trimmed directly within Ovation or prepared in Pyramix.

Up to four video streams can be played simultaneously via standard computer graphics cards, delivering powerful visual integration 🙌

Throwback to when Ovation ran show control for the Al Ain museum reopening ✨

Creative and production company @dae_global invited @auditoriasystems to design and deliver the full audio and show control systems for the reopening ceremony of the UAE’s first museum.

The event used projection, narration and performance to tell the story of Al Ain from its earliest settlements through to the present day. To achieve the maximum results, everything had to happen with complete precision.

That’s where Ovation came in.

Our media server and event sequencing software delivered dual-redundant replay systems, executing timecode-based playback across 128 channels of MADI, driving an L-Acoustics L-ISA system 🙌

Ovation proved why it’s the software of choice for events, theme parks, broadcast and many other applications in AV!

Throwback to when the @cbc (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) revamped its system with Ovation 🇨🇦

The broadcast operator works across radio, TV, and digital web content, offering news, sports and entertainment programming.

Canada’s media consumption is seeing a dramatic shift towards digital content, with foreign digital giants eclipsing its domestic competition.

This digital movement called for Radio-Canada to completely revamp its system, turning to Merging Technologies’ Ovation as a digital broadcast solution, with monitoring from fellow @sennheiser Group brand, @neumann.berlin.
