I had the pleasure of working with @demiamatmakeup to create a prefabricated arm sleeve for @lucysibbickmakeup and @vicki_money_make_up , used for injury/burn makeup.

Prosthetics is a passion of mine, and being able to craft these pieces in-house under the guidance of Lucy and Vicki, alongside such an incredible team, was a privilege. The collaborative process and skill-sharing in this space are always inspiring.

Collaboration with @humenorg @saatchisaatchi_artproduction and @adotdotcom live in central London. You can see the full film now on Tottenham Court Road!

British acting talent, including Cyril Nri, Tom Rhys Harries, Sean Teale, Royce Pierreson, Harry Collett, and River Hawkins, will be showcased on colossal billboards at Outernet London.

Over 30 seconds, the images close in, portraying the journey from isolation to connection. The finale captures the resilience of these men, standing tall, defiant, and hopeful. Behind the scenes, the campaign addresses a sobering statistic-74% of suicides are men, with 12 men taking their own lives daily in the UK.
Join us in breaking the silence. "Closing In" aims to encourage men to open up about mental health and directs them toward HUMEN Spaces, providing a platform for regular conversations, listening, and connection. Making an impact on International Men's Day.

Mob Land Season 1 — Mexican gang character. Another role brought to life through an incredible collaborative process with @mariedeehan and @ashfx.store @oceanwright

These tattoos were especially fun to create, taking us back to the deep roots of Mexican gang culture. Tattooing is a powerful way of expressing stories, identity, and emotion and it plays a significant role within these communities.

Tattoos are great way to amplify a character look and story.

We made sure the ink reflects classic gang-style tattoos, staying true to the culture and background to give the character a realistic, gritty edge. Temporary tattoos are used a lot in TV and film makeup because they’re a quick, realistic way to add character detail or storytelling elements without permanent commitment or great lengths of time taken to hand paint each detail.

They are also very useful for maintaining a high level of continuity - since filming takes place over many days/weeks, temporary tattoos can be replicated perfectly for continuity and we know the result will be exactly the same time and time again.

For the Midsummer ball we used temporary tattoos for some of the girls intricate makeup designs then went over with gold paints to ensure we would get the same delicate design every day.

📺 Common Uses in Film & TV
• Character tattoos: Identifiable designs (tribal, script, symbols, sleeves).
• Medical tattoos: Scars, radiation dots, or prisoner ID numbers.
• Fantasy/Sci-fi: Symbols, runes, futuristic markings.
