Meet Sian 💙
Sian has been part of our ReConnect programme for over 25 years, a space dedicated to supporting mental health through creativity, community and connection.
This weekend, Sian is walking the Kiltwalk for Project Ability 👏🏻💪🏻
Sian has been collecting donations in person, but you can still support her, and all of our artists, by donating online, via fellow walker, Colin’s page (link in bio).
At a time when our future at Trongate 103 remains uncertain, every donation helps us keep this vital space open for artists like Sian.
If you can, please support, link in bio 💙 or type in:

Meet Kendall 👋
Next weekend, we’ll be taking on the Kiltwalk, and as we make our final push towards our fundraising target, we want to introduce you to the people at the heart of everything we do.
Over the next week, we’re sharing a series of short films featuring our artists. First up is Kendall, one of our Aspire artists.
For Kendall, Project Ability is more than a studio. It’s a place to create, connect, and feel part of something. A place where ideas grow, confidence builds, and creativity is supported every day.
And that’s what your donation helps protect.
Right now, we’re facing real uncertainty about our future at Trongate 103 following a proposed 400% rent increase. While we continue to fight for a sustainable way forward, the reality is that the support we receive through fundraising has never been more important.
The Kiltwalk gives us a chance to come together and raise vital funds to keep our studios open and accessible for the artists who rely on them.
If you’re able to, we’re asking you to support our walk and help us reach our target.
👉 Donate here (also linked in our instagram bio): https://www.justgiving.com/page/colinmhillier
Every donation directly supports artists like Kendall and helps ensure Project Ability can continue to be a place of creativity, community and opportunity.
Thank you!
Team Project Ability

A few weekends ago a team of Project Ability community members and artists took on the Kiltwalk in the Glasgow sunshine!
So far, together, the walkers have raised an amazing £2,638.52, and donations are still coming in!
Every single donation has made a difference, and we are so grateful to everyone who contributed, shared, and cheered our walkers on.
A very special thank you goes to Colin, who took on the Mighty Stride on Sunday. Colin has been fundraising for Project Ability since last year, and his ongoing dedication and commitment mean so much to us. Taking on such a huge challenge is no small feat, and we’re incredibly thankful for the time, energy and enthusiasm he has put into supporting our work.
We also want to say a huge thank you to Sian, one of our ReConnect artists, and her partner Alastair, who walked and fundraised for us on Saturday. They commented it was a brilliant day and are looking forward to doing it all again next year!
If you would like to add your donation there is still time to do so! Link in bio.
From all of us at Project Ability thank you! 💛
