Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows in Denmark. It was great to be playing in the country for the first time with my own music. Meeting such great people at venues, all doing brilliantly to keep music alive in their own towns is such an honour. I hope I make it back up there again before too long.

When two casino workers — Leanne, a single mother risking everything to keep her family home, and Matty, a chronic gambler desperate for cash — discover they’ve both been stealing from the same safe, one last heist becomes their only way out. Caught between each other, a dangerous gangster, and the police, their unlikely bond is tested to its limit.

Happy to announce the next single of my Sparks remix EP. Today comes an absolutely beautiful rework of my track ‘The learning of the eye’ by @annemullercello

Anne was one of the first musicians I met when I first came to Berlin. We met as part of the 10 year anniversary of Erased Tapes, the label she now releases with. We have gone on to work on many projects together and recently she also joined me to record for my upcoming album later this year (more news on that soon).

Her rework of ‘The learning of the eye’ is truly magical. The way she reharmonised the material and added her own melodies that interact with the haunting performances by @eera_official and @taranomedoyle has created a touching and intimate new piece of music.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here for a while but Happy New Year all. New Year brings many new things and I’m happy to share the first single from my upcoming EP Sparks - remixes of tracks from Spark Live Living Mothers.

I’ve had the pleasure to have some incredible remixes and reworks made. First up is the brilliant @dystopian_vectors with his remix of the track The Yet To Come.

I’ll be releasing one track a month from now through to April and alongside I’ve started a new Substack to write about the tracks as well as a new feature I am starting.

Both the original album and these new reworks have the idea of inspiration and collaboration at their heart, focusing on the process of reimagining an existing work. In the new Substack (also called ‘Sparks’) I will share once a month, a new post by an artist I admire writing about a piece of music that has inspired them. What it is they find inspiring and the effect it has had on their own creations.
