[Re-Stock] Getaround Bar / SimWorks by NITTO
It’s a handlebar that somehow fits any bike and feels natural in the hands of any rider. In English you might describe that feeling as subtle or sophisticated, but the Japanese word zetsumyō carries a different shade of meaning — especially the character “妙,” which suggests a kind of delicate, hard‑to‑explain charm. That indescribable nuance is part of what makes this handlebar so special.
The Getaround Bar will be back in stock at SimWorks USA very soon.
- Getaround Alloy Bar
Material: Heat Treated Aluminum
Finishing: Polished Alloy and Polished Ano Black
Bar Clamp: 31.8 mm
Width: 750 mm
Rise: 28 mm
Grip Angle: 24 deg.
Weight: 378 g
Country of Origin: Japan

In English you might describe that feeling as subtle or sophisticated, but the Japanese word zetsumyō carries a different shade of meaning — especially the character “妙,” which suggests a kind of delicate, hard‑to‑explain charm. That indescribable nuance is part of what makes this handlebar so special.
The Getaround Bar will be back in stock at SimWorks USA very soon.

[WHO BUILDS GOOD BIKES] TANI BUILDS GOOD BIKES!
A series of interviews with the people who build bicycles.
This time, we feature TANI — also known as TANI-FUN — from BLUE LUG Kamiuma ( @bluelug_kamiuma ).
Among the globally renowned BLUE LUG shops ( @bluelug ), the Kamiuma location is a particularly special one, handling a many custom‑order bikes. From dream builds to EVERYDAY BIKEs, Tani‑kun, the store manager, takes on many complex full‑custom projects. In this interview, we explore the background of his approach to bike building.
What defines Tani‑kun’s builds is his unique method: he draws inspiration from the culture, community, and connections of the region where each frame or component was created, and then “channels” the intention of the original builder — imagining how they would assemble the bike.
He says that what matters most is conveying the story behind the builders and the bikes he loves, and creating a final product that becomes the customer’s best possible EVERYDAY BIKE.
There’s much more to the conversation, so be sure to check out the full article on our website.
We’ll prepare an English version later, so please wait just a little longer.

[NEW COLOR] Tiny Bubbly Pedal Ezy Superior & OneSide Ezy Superior BRONZE - SimWorks by MKS
The bronze‑color Tiny Bubbly Ezy Superior makes its debut.
Pedals are a uniquely two‑sided component — they’re your best partner for power transfer while you’re riding, yet the moment you step off the bike, they instantly turn into dangerous, awkward protrusions. They scrape your shins, bump into the bike next to you, and get in the way when folding or loading your bike. A bit stressful, to say the least.
MKS solved all of that with their ingenious Ezy Superior system, which allows you to attach and remove your pedals easily without any tools.
It’s an essential feature for folding bikes and dramatically reduces the stress of traveling with your bike. We offer both the model with removable pedals on both sides, as well as the OneSide Ezy, designed for a certain British folding bike.
With the new bronze color, assembling your bike just got even more fun.
- Tiny Bubbly Pedal Ezy Superior
Size: 86 x 96 x 30mm
Weight: 425g (pair) / OneSide 398g (pair)
Body Material: Aluminum Alloy
Plate Material: Heat-treated Aluminum + Anodized
Spindle Material: Cold Forged Steel + Chrome Plated
Bearings: Triple Shield Bearing

[ #SimWorksDay 2026 ] WHO BUILDS GOOD BIKES PRIZE!
We’re excited to announce the winners of the “WHO BUILDS GOOD BIKES PRIZE!” from SimWorks Day!
Thank you all for the many entries. The thrill of building your own bike—the choices of parts, the small frustrations, the pride when it comes together, and the urge to keep customizing—adds up into a deep attachment to “your” bike. That process itself is the real joy. From the passionate entries we received, we picked two bikes that really grabbed our hearts.
★ Sam from Mack’s bike and goods — @macksbikeandgoods
- Rivendell Hunqapillar
Is this a pro’s private bike? Maybe — and that’s totally fine. A classic look using vintage parts paired with wide, highly capable tires makes this a truly versatile machine. It’s at home on daily rides and long tours alike, and the fit of the SimWorks by HONJO fenders is spot on.
★ Robbyansyah — @robbyansyah_
- Singular Peregrine Mark III
This bike shows the current form of an ongoing, ride-driven build—constant trial, error, and customization with no “final” finish. It captures the charm of personal bike-building: visible handwork, real heat and effort, and a balance of practicality and style. The SimWorks by HONJO fenders and Obento Rack are working hard and looking great.
We’ll be sending prizes to each builder — stay tuned!
The process of building a bike—how it shapes riding, how it creates attachment to a tool—is what we want to keep celebrating. Let’s keep enjoying that together.
The pro mechanic interview series will continue. More to come!

[NEW COLOR] Stainless Outer Cable "CRISPER" SimWorks by NISSEN
SimWorks by Nissen "CRISPER" – Why We Choose the Coil Structure
We often get asked: "Is the CRISPER compressionless?" To put it simply: No, it is a refined coil-type cable.
While "compressionless" cables (straight wire bundles) offer a very stiff feel, they are rigid and difficult to route around front bags or through complex internal frame paths. In contrast, the coil-type structure used in the CRISPER provides exceptional flexibility.
The traditional weakness of coil cables was the "mushy" feel caused by the gaps between coils compressing under pressure. The CRISPER solves this by using a wider coil design, significantly increasing resistance to vertical compression. This allows you to maintain the flexibility of a coil cable while achieving a sharp, direct response—even with V-brakes or mechanical disc brakes.
[Pro Tip] Prep for Peak Performance
Before installation, we recommend letting the CRISPER sit straight for 12 to 24 hours. This removes "initial shrinkage" and minimizes any play or adjustment shifts after the cable is set.
For those who want the perfect balance of everyday usability and tough braking power, the CRISPER is the ultimate choice. Give it a try for your next cable refresh!
[Spec]
- Stainless Outer Cable "CRISPER" for Brake / for Shift - 3m
Length: 3m
Outer diameter: 5mm / 4mm
Inner wire: 1.5 - 1.6 mm / 1.2mm
Materials: Coil / Stainless
Inner liner / Polyethylene
【Tips】

【Tips】

The true meaning of the name "Ronin" is to wander the world without being tied down by anything, and we wanted to make it as versatile as possible even within the many rules and regulations of bicycle construction. We've also designed the "Ronin" to offer more options for handlebar shapes and tire sizes. It can't do everything, but it can do a lot. This is what the "Ronin" is all about as a tool.
