“THERE IS A SUN” – TALAR AGHBASHIAN UND MAYA HOTTAREK Is on view until November 23, 2025 at @hausfuerkunsturi
🌞🌞🌞
„Soft Raditation“ – the hanging clay sculptures that Maya Hottarek is exhibiting in the skylight hall of the Haus für Kunst Uri are both an installation and a soundscape.
Maya Hottarek explores the energetic interconnections and vibrations between our bodies, materials, and objects. Infrared transmitters register the bodies of visitors and trigger a multisensory choreography of light, scent, and sound.
The sound composition is developed from the frequency spectrum that corresponds to the chakra system: each tone interacts with a specific resonance field in our body. In this sense, the installation also explores the interfaces between quantum thinking and healing practices:
Vibrations are central to quantum physics as a measurable phenomenon and are at the same time a metaphysical instrument of transformation.

Many thanks to Maya and Gioia for your trust!

This week, I had the great pleasure of working in Berlin 🇩🇪 and documenting the second part of „Kunst für die Stadt,“ a public art project featuring former artists-in-residence at @villaaurorala as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
In this second edition of the project, the first took place in May, four artists and one artist duo were invited to present their artwork on large advertising billboards in different parts of Berlin: Edgar Arceneaux & Zora Arceneaux, Janine Eggert, Erik Göngrich, Lukas Glinkowski, and Wiebke Loeper. The project was curated by the wonderful Clara Becker.
In addition to these photos, I conducted interviews with the artists and will be creating videos about all five presentations, which will be posted on their social networks starting next week. 🎙️🎥📲
Kudos to the Villa Aurora team for making art accessible to a wide audience and providing a platform for artists at a time when funding and opportunities are largely being cut back. And a big thank you for allowing me to contribute a small part to the project:
Dr. Jakob Scherer, Clara Becker, Katharina Karnitschnig, Dr. Claudia Gordon, Friedel Schmoranzer, and Susanne Grau 💐
You can see „Kunst für die Stadt“ until October 19, 2025. More information can be found on the link in my bio. 🔗

Throwback to 2022: I was working freelance since 6 months and my client @galerie_mueller asked me to promote an event in an empty residential building in Basel during the Basel Art Fair Week.
Little did I know, that within three weeks I would organically build @basel.social.club from 0 to 5000 followers, and promote one of the coolest art events ever.

From initial sketch to the final product. I had so much fun creating these. The three main colors turned out beautifully, but are difficult to capture in photos. They look very different depending on the light.
All three designs have been silkscreen printed by hand and are available via the link in my bio.

In 1996, Motorola introduced the StarTAC. It was the world’s first flip phone, designed to flip open with a flick of your thumb, and a pull-out antenna to facilitate clearer connections.
The shirt comes with a peach-colored or, depending on the light, pink logo on the front and the character on the back.
