Turkey's northern city Samsun saw flash floods tear through streets and properties on Wednesday.
Torrential storms caused a local river to burst its banks and send the water surging.
More storms are expected in the region on Thursday and Sunday.

A cold snap is forecast to replace the spring warmth and temperatures are expected to fall well below the mid-May average for most people.
There is the potential for some heavy downpours which could even turn wintry over high ground.

Could you survive almost three months of constant daylight? 😳
The Alaskan town of Utqiagvik saw its final sunrise before 84 days of continuous daylight on Sunday, May 10.
Timelapse footage shared by the National Weather Service office in Fairbanks showed the sun briefly dipping below the horizon just before 03:00 AM local time on Sunday.
It will now remain visible continuously until August 2 as the Arctic region enters its annual period of midnight sun.

The jet stream has shifted south, dragging in cold Arctic air, and especially from midweek we'll see showers, and even the chance of heavy, thundery downpours. ⛈️
