“There was so much to get through… How the hell do you tell that story?” Despite being a pop star for nearly 40 years, Kylie Minogue has kept much of her personallife behind closed doors. David Beckham and Alan Titchmarch at the Chelsea Flower Show, well isn’t that blooming lovely? DB and AT are the horticulture dream team we never knew we needed, thanks to their work at this year’s RHS Chelsea garden, designed alongside His Majesty King Charles III. The trio toured their ‘Curious Garden’, designed to spark curiosity in gardening and encourage more people, particularly younger generations, to spend time in nature.

“I’ve been in heels since I turned [piano] pro at 13. I can’t play piano in flats. To make the pedals work for me, for that stretch, I need the heel as a pivot. I’m only 5ft 3in. Heels work as a mechanical apparatus for me as well as for the visual.”

“The fact that I don’t have a mother is as much a part of me as my right hand or my own name. I’ve become accustomed to the looks of pity each time I meet someone new and the topic of mothers arises. I’ve felt ugly jealousies. I’ve felt longing. And for most of my life, I’ve felt a very specific loneliness, a sense that I was somehow cut loose all those years ago and have since been unmoored and floating, without a mother to turn back to and ask: ‘Am I doing OK?’”

@gucci designer Demna lived out his own American dream in New York last night when he shut down Times Square for his debut cruise show for the house. Traffic-stopping and then some, this showcase - featuring American fashion royalty Cindy Crawford - was a love letter to the Big Apple’s style tropes, with everyone from the classic Wall Street banker to the cropped-jacket-loving club kid represented on the runway.

It was sensory overload, with the Square’s LED billboards called upon to display the house’s latest offering to the masses. Tourists watched alongside a front row that included Mariah Carey and Demna favourite Kim Kardashian.
