The powder room at our Terracotta house project was tucked underneath the stairs central to the plan, and a found void created an opportunity to bring natural light into this space with the insertion of a skylight.

We’re super excited to share more of the project when it goes to print in the next issue of @thelocalproject magazine.

We’ve finally got some photos to share from our Moonee Ponds project with @arloarchitecture.

Stained Accoya battens sit within a crisply detailed shroud on the south facing first floor, whilst bifolding steel doors open fully to connect the kitchen and living spaces to the rear courtyard.

We look forward to sharing more from this one soon, along with some other exciting projects we’ve been working on.

The facade is largely sculpted from welded aluminum plate and features perforated and folded aluminum sheeting that was custom made for the project.

The lovely folks at @thelocalproject have featured our @lifedownalane project with @tomrobertsonarchitects this week.

As the name suggests, this tight site is tucked down a laneway in Richmond and is surrounded by a total of 7 adjoining properties.

Building to the site boundary on all 4 sides, the project is a great example of what’s possible to achieve on a subdivided block.

Life down a lane will also be open for @openhousemelb this year so stay tuned for more details on that.

We handed over the keys to our Malvern project this week for @lande.archi and our wonderful clients Nick & Anna.

This has been a deeply rewarding project to be a part of and we’re incredibly proud of the outcome.

Thank you to Eva, Lachy and the Lande team for your tireless dedication to the project. We love working with you.

Thank you to Tim, Simon, Monty and Miles and the rest of the BFC team and all of our skilled contractors. It was a big push to hand this project over ahead of schedule and before Xmas and we couldn’t be happier.
