When I first started studying 3D, I remember picking up my first 3D world magazine and being in awe. I told myself that one day, I too, would craft characters at that level. More than a decade later, I’ve reached my goal.

This month marks my seventh year working in Vancouver’s animation industry.

Coming from Barcelona, where I first taught myself 3D seventeen years ago, I set out to pursue a career as a 3D modeler with the dream of joining amazing studios and working on inspiring projects. After pouring my heart and soul into my craft, it feels like that dream has finally come true.

I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve joined Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Senior Modeler.

Joining one of my dream studios is an honour, and I’m truly grateful to be part of such an incredible team. I know I’ll continue to learn and grow alongside so many talented colleagues.

I also want to express my gratitude to Mainframe Studios, where I worked for nearly seven years, for believing in me and welcoming me when I first arrived in Canada.
