Midnight Shift connects with the one Helena Hauff, a force of nature whose take on EBM, electro and industrial strikes where it matters - her sets 100% dedicated to hardware and raw wax, rooted in the Hamburg experimental art scene. The former Golden Pudel resident also has released on Werk Discs, Ninja Tune, Solar One Music, and her own Return to Disorder imprint.

Opening before, London-based homeboy @siiio.bak returns to support with his fast-rising hard-hitting punk-core manoeuvres. No brakes allowed.

First up to bat is MNS crew @a_y_a_n_o._ going b2b with @howr0ng of @bussytemple. Get ready for a genre-fluid energetic x-change from some of SG’s best.

Roll up for the first season of Midnight Shift in the early innings of 2026. It’s been a min since we last gathered, with us sifting through the noise and fighting the algo feed to bring you gathering numero uno for the people where the music comes first.

Come 7 Feb we’re presenting a special double bill with the return of @bluehour909. Aka Luke Standing, he is a DJ, producer and owner of Blue Hour Music and sublabels Eachnewhour and positivesource. It’s where his repertoire stands out with a multifaceted evolving approach combining unreleased material with blueprint techno foundations.

For her SG debut is @tasha_neighbourhood , chief operator of the Neighbourhood imprint, Open Ground club res and Rinse FM presenter, she is on the lineups of freero, FOLD and Berghain. Moving between garage, dnb, dubstep, jungle and techno, her shapeshifting sets magnetize corners of the spectrum in one unbreakable flow.

Then there’s our home team. @a_y_a_n_o._ , elevating rooms with her technical and selection game on point. Plus riddims don Helios XL aka @nezsenja from @revisionmusicsg repping everything else you haven’t heard yet.

Over at the b-side, Hall gets a @huruharasounds takeover. The new musical child of North East Social Club’s @_natashahassan brings in special guests @burna.au and @hally.uk for a riot of rhythm rollers, stank face basslines and those dubby low-end frequencies the RASA sound system is built for.

RASA teams up with local collective Midnight Shift to host American-Ghanaian DJ Akua, joined by rising local talent Prem and Midnight Shift’s Haan.

Akua has earned a following for her raw, machine-driven sets influenced by the techno roots of Detroit, Chicago, and New York, all while adding her own fresh spin shaped by time spent in Berlin. Her style is all about no-nonsense, high-impact tracks that drive straight to the heart of techno, steering clear of passing fads and focusing on high-energy sounds at the cutting edge.

With gigs at respected venues like Basement and Nowadays in New York, Movement Detroit, and Berghain, Dekmantel, Fuse Brussels and Draaimolen, Akua’s name keeps popping up wherever forward-thinking techno is celebrated.

With deep knowledge in the history of the genre and a sharp ear for what’s next, Akua’s skillful mixing and expanding collection of futureproof tracks have earned her the admiration of DJs and dancers across continents.

Recorded in single takes using a simplified setup of the flute - played into a microphone and wired through an Octatrack - every sound heard in the recordings comes in one way or another from the flute as a single sound source, manipulated and looped on the fly with additional live improvisation over the top.

The result is a timeless capsule of heady drones, offbeat electronics, and mischievous flutes, captured during a time when the world stood still. Scuzzy at times, glistening at others, and ever-optimistic in the pursuit of something new.

All record profits from this release will go to @3ezwa.de, providing financial and legal support to those facing repression for their commitment to the Pal3stinian cause.
