At this year’s @greatescapefest, PPL teamed up with @prsfoundation and @prsformusic to celebrate 20 years of the International Showcase Fund (ISF).
The ISF fund is managed by PRS Foundation and offers grants for UK-based artists to showcase overseas at industry facing showcase events.
We caught up with the incredible @waltdisco to hear how receiving funding allowed them travel to @SXSW in 2022, and kickstart the next stage of their career.

3 PRS Foundation Grantees Win Big at The Ivors 2026 ✨
We’re proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of PRS Foundation-supported songwriters and composers recognised at this year’s @ivorsacademy
Kae Tempest @kaetempest supported through our PPL Momentum Music Fund & International Showcase Fund, won ‘Best Contemporary Song’ alongside Fraser T Smith for I Stand on the Line — marking Kae’s second Ivor Novello Award.
Flashback 📸 to last year for our 25th anniversary, when Kae kindly shared some heartfelt and inspiring words about the support he received through PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund — a reminder amid celebrations like these, why sustained investment in artists matters so much.
Sam Fender @sam_fender also supported through the PPL Momentum Music Fund and the International Showcase Fund, received the ‘Songwriter of the Year’ award with Amazon Music.
Brian Irvine @brian_irvine_ picked up his third Ivor Novello Award, winning ‘Best Television Soundtrack’ alongside David Holmes @davidholmes_1969 for their score to Trespasses. Brian has previously been supported through PRS Foundation’s Beyond Borders & New Music Biennial programmes.
We’re also delighted to see PRS Foundation-supported songwriters @iamvioletskies and @oscarscheller credited as co-writers on’s WEST END GIRL, with Lily receiving the ‘Outstanding Song Collection’ award.

We’re officially halfway through our “Empowering Women in the Music Industry” workshop series! 🌍
In our first sessions, we covered label management and EPKs with @mrsimonraymonde, @abbey808, and @koka___. Then, we dove into export readiness with @virgo_sillamaa, @becciscotcher, and our founder, @marika.karala. This week, we wrapped up our third session on funding opportunities with @joe_frankland and Rusudan Ebralidze.
The energy from our participants has been incredible as they actively dive into every topic and pitch their projects. The program is still going strong, and we can’t wait for the next sessions.
