Y'all remember the song "White Lines (Don't Do It)" by Grandmaster & Melle Mel (on Sugar Hill Records)? Well small world... that sample was originally created by an independent band called Liquid Liquid. I had the pleasure of being interviewed by the original percussionist Dennis Young on his podcast Primitive Substance.
