The works of Venice VR Expanded, the Virtual Reality section of the 77th Venice International Film Festival (2-12 September 2020) of @labiennale di Venezia will be available for viewing in the VR Lounge of many cultural institutions around the world, and online.

It’s feels like yesterday. But it was more than 4 years ago when we premiered Reframe Iran at @world_xr_forum in Crans Montana. Reframe Iran is a multi-platform story about contemporary Iranian art. In virtual reality, users experience nine Iranian artist studios throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. These artists share the heavy burden they have to represent Iran through their work and, yet, many of them have been living in exile for decades. Themes such as identity, the revolution, the corruption of the art market arise as we begin to see the the art world from the Iranian artist's perspective. Some of the artist in the film include @shirin__neshat @parviztanavoli @shahram.karimi.16 @nickynodjoumi @farkhondeh_shahroudi @icyandsot . A shoutout to our team now spread across the world pursuing different endeavours. @aglorios1 @azerbaijohn @joaoinada and @matteo_lon . The documentary was funded by The Brown Institute for Media Innovation at @columbiajournalism . This project is what started our passion for this medium!

After two years of hard work We are excited to say that the 1st episode of Il Dubbio, a VR project we have produced with @lon.fran and @matteo_lon has been selected for VeniceVR, the VR section of @labiennale :)
Il Dubbio is an interactive experience that explores doubt in the creative process. It is a journey into the mind of Leonardo da Vinci— a man of many doubts— and three contemporary artists, which use doubt in their practice. The first episode features Milanese sculptor @velascovitali
We are only at the beginning of this journey and are excited for what's to come.
