Now that spring is rumbling to life, the season has come for long walks in blossoming nature. At the link in bio, British journalist and author of ‘Wonderlands: British Garden Designers at Home’ @clarecoulson shares her recommendations for where to sit under cherry blossom trees, observe bearded irises or bask in a meadow – and why the UK is so proud of its gardening heritage. Few artists can translate their emotions with such sincerity that their work becomes an impetus for change – a catalyst for cultural revolution. Yohji Yamamoto has this power: he subverts an industry’s notions of who women are and how they might dress, while waging a deeper battle for peace and diversity.
“I’ve been doing this job for more than 40 years,” @yohjiyamamotoofficial tells @raysanfourche in #Mastermind19. “I’ve been asking myself recently, ‘When are you going to finish your work?’ There’s no answer. Maybe when I die, or when I no longer understand how to cut, how to print, how to pick a color. As far as I know, I can never stop.” Order the new issue to read the full interview with #YohjiYamamoto.

In 2013, the philanthropist Maja Hoffmann established LUMA Arles, an institution designed by the late Frank Gehry that is now a global cultural powerhouse and a laboratory for artistic, scientific and ecological innovations. And it’s just one part of her far more ambitious vision, she tells Donatien Grau in #Mastermind19.
“LUMA’s project was based on the idea that art cannot change the world, but that society must take artists’ ways of thinking into account, and that artists are not there just to decorate. Artistic creation is one thing, but it’s creative thinking that interests me more,” she says.

Earlier this month, Paapa Essiedu won the Best Supporting Actor prize at the @olivierawards for his performance in ‘All My Sons,’ Arthur Miller’s evisceration of the American Dream, revived for the West End by Ivo van Hove. “The blinding quality of greed is pervasive through all sections of our society’s organizational structures. And this play, in a pretty on-the-nose way, holds a mirror up to that and asks us, as performers and audiences, if we’re willing to tolerate that,” pessiedu tells @charlesshafaieh in #Mastermind19.
The accolade follows his recent turn in the acclaimed @bbc show ‘Babies’ and adds to anticipation surrounding his upcoming role as Severus Snape in the new @harrypotter series. Yet Essiedu remains down-to-earth, and is especially passionate about who has access to the arts and what stories are told. Read the full interview in the new issue, out now.

Around that time, she was filming her debut role in Larry Clark’s ‘Kids’ (1995) as Jennie, a teenager reeling from a positive HIV diagnosis “With all of my past work in photography, it was easy to tell who the camera would like, and it really liked her,” @larryclarkofficial says in #Mastermind19. Happy birthday @anyataylorjoy! Speaking to @nolankelly_ on the eve of her 30th, the actor said she was adopting a new mindset for the year ahead. “When I was younger, I put a lot of pressure on myself to be completely ‘on’ in the moments when I had to be on, and to force myself to rest during downtime. Now, I realize that I recharge by doing things for myself,” she said. “I want to feel like I’m squeezing the juice from the lemon.”

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
