On assignment shooting the 2018 Contiki NZ brochure. Our coach drove us up the Mt Rahupehu to catch an epic sunset above the clouds. Definitely the best shot of the entire trip. The pink tones were actually in the raw shot, just had to correct white balance!⠀ ⠀

Travelling solo around Hawaii. I met a group of Aussies and hired a car to this cliff diving spot. Shot from above the blow hole, I had to hand the camera over to someone who wasn’t experienced and probably set it to auto for them, trusting my canon gear would not fail me. I was going through a phase of making everything dark & moody — which is great for the most part but sometimes moody editing doesn’t lend well to certain scenes, as you’ll see in some of my photos. ⠀ ⠀

I was at a popular beach side spot so I wandered away from the crowd, found a quiet and clear spot and hovered the drone over the shoreline and myself. We woke up at 5 am, swam with whale sharks then hit Kawasan Falls up. We had to time the shot as there were tourists coming in and out of the frame and no steady ground to place a tripod. We had just finished a swim through underground canals and the light was beaming from the sides of the cave. I asked if she could swim over to this rock in the middle of the cenote.
