‘Fragment’ EP out now !

a few years after my first project, I feel it’s time to come back :)

when I was writing these two tracks, I kept thinking that music itself is built from fragments: rhythms, textures, moments that repeat and break apart.

both tracks are 130bpm explorations through dub and uk techno, with a minimal yet conscious approach to sound design.

Siguiendo la esencia de poder disfrutar sets extendidos, esta vez es la primera fecha de la residencia en donde estarán dos djs en formato B2B: Prest & XL Regular

Ambos con base en Roma, los djs y productores @_prest & @xlregular son esas figuras que están empujando un sondo genuino en Italia.Fusionando elementos del House, Broken-Beat, Techno y un amplio espectro de la musica de club contemporanea, con la percusión y el ritmo como hilo conductor.

Un par de apuntes de interés: la musica de XL Regular ha sido editado en el sello de AliA, Artisjok Records. Por el lado de Prest, editando en uno de los sellos en donde más impulsan la musica electronica en Portugal, XXIII.

Ya sea en el estudio o detrás de los platos, ambos son un soplo de aire fresco y no es casualidad de que conjuntamente, puedan reflejar un sonido con alma que atrapa.

Apuntaros la fecha:26 de Abril para este akelarre que os recomendamos no perderte.

Prest

is a DJ & producer based in Rome, his productions and mixes explore a wide range of percussive-spanning elements within contemporary club music. Prest continues to be a vital part of the underground roman music scene, bringing international guests to play within the city and helping foster a growing bass orientated music community. As an integral member of collective & label Reveries, he helps to create opportunities for Rome to showcase its wealth of talent via events and label releases. He also holds a monthly residency on Milan based Raheem Radio and spent 3 years dialing in his craft as resident of iconic “Goa Club” in Rome.

Prest is making his Scottish debut with us and will be warming things alongside resident Lewis Lowe.
