This Friday the first single "To Every Rose Pt. 1" from the studio recording "The Shade Of The Perishing Tree" with my Octet will be released. The title of the album is the name of the poem I wrote for this track and it is the first of three parts, I've had the pleasure of reciting it at performances but I had the pleasure of recording my poet friend Spike Howarth recite it instead and I'm very grateful that he got involved in the project.
The album art is by me, it takes inspiration for the diagram of the group which @samuelhollismusic drew for the session, which I took a liking to as soon as I saw it. To be involved with him and @salthouserecordings has been an amazing experience, we're very happy with the results.
As always, I'm very grateful to my friends for playing in this project and their trust in the music. They brought so much to this project, I'm excited to see where we go next!
