17 years on the battlefield and I am still here 🙏🏽 I never set out to be a dancer. I just loved the culture, chased excellence, and woke up one day entirely in love with the movement. When the world rejected me, Breakin gave me room to exist. It became my confidence and my sanctuary. No one else will celebrate this journey for me, so out of respect for my craft I will. I recently pulled up with Atlanta’s own @breaksons ,a multi-hyphenate Breaking collective formed from several legendary crews in the ATL scene. In this interview we talked about how BreakSons was founded and what each member of the crew specializes in outside of breaking. Battle dump pt.5 Circa 2018-2019

During this time I was a resident of TX specifically in the DFW area. This was my first time moving out my city and scene to re-establish myself in a new one. I remember my intention when entering the scene was to get my power up cuz Texas has crazy power which soon faded cuz I am not a power head lol, but after traveling to the many cities in the lone star state I came to realize each city is different in this mecca of a state but there is one thing they all had in common.. and that was the pride of being a Texan. Heck, I was even proud to be a temporary Texan 😅 I made unbreakable connections, lifetime bonds, and unforgettable memories in the time I was there. I love and miss my TX people but my heart will always remain in the dirty south ‼️✌🏽
