The White Hotel became one of the last genuinely underground spaces in the UK - hidden away in Salford, impossible to explain properly unless you’d actually been there ⛪️
For the last decade it stood for everything modern nightlife is slowly losing: risk, experimentation and complete creative freedom. No sponsors, no polish, no algorithmic curation - just “minimum budget, maximum ideas.” A place where avant garde art, noise, techno, film, theatre and total chaos could all exist under the same roof.
Andy Weatherall’s final set. Detroit legends. Re-enactments of Diana’s funeral. Election night screenings. Fireworks flying across the bar on NYE. Somehow chaotic but never careless.
“We were in the moment and of the moment.”
What made The White Hotel important wasn’t just the bookings it was the feeling of the culture it created. In a time where so much nightlife feels saturated and temporary, it stayed completely true to itself.
“It’s better to go out on our own terms, long before we became a museum.”
An end of an era for Manchester and UK underground culture as a whole.

RTK Tarantino - Alfie Moon🌛
@rtk_tarantino take on UKG has been making moves around the scene recently, blending proper old-school flavours with a modern edge that’s been hitting hard in clubs and festivals. After a run of sick gigs and growing support from names like Dr Banana and Truly Madly, his unreleased dubs have been getting rinsed more and more.
One of those producers who’s been building serious momentum right now, every set and new track seems to turn more heads.

Some stand out sets included Tini b2b Jennifer Loveless, O.bee and Mato.
Beautiful people, unreal locations, and music that reminded us why we love this scene so much 🫶

Located between the mountains and hot springs of Montanejos, Días de Campo has one of the most picturesque festival settings we’ve come across - six different stages, 200+ hours of music, and a crowd that comes from all over 🌲
Whether it was floating in the river during ambient sessions at Termas Downtempo, getting lost in the madness of El Tipi from day into night, or catching marathon sets under the lights of the XCEED Main Stage, every part of the festival felt carefully curated without losing its rawness.
Standout moments came from The Ghost, Alec Falconer, Aline Umber (live), and Jane Fitz, whose sets perfectly captured the energy of the weekend with deep, unpredictable and emotional beats📍
From intimate village gatherings at La Plaza to the Jameson and OCB stages, Días de Campo delivered with sound, community and a feeling of total escapism.
A weekend that inevitably stays with you for a long time🇪🇸

Back again at Hidden Sounds in Dalston for part 2 of our 3rd episode, where we team up with @officialrizlauk to bring out some of our favourite artists to record stores to answer some very important questions. This time, we chatted to @papanugs at his local spot, Hidden Sounds, and asked him about his favourite closing tracks, up & coming producers to check out and his all-time favourite small festival. Some amazing shouts in this one. I would not hesitate to take advice on all 3 shouts!

EP3: 3 for £50 w @ papa nugs
We welcome the incredibly talented selector, Papa Nugs for episode 3 where we continue our record store series powered by @officialrizlauk. As usual we give out the task to find 3 records, one for a festival set, one for a club night and lastly one for an afters.
This time we headed over to the amazing @hiddensounds_london store in Dalston where they have an impressive collection of all things electronic music, from trance, to tech house, to garage, to reggae, the place is not short of gems. Be sure to head over there if you’re looking to add some unknown belters to your collection. On this episode some digs were certainly dug. Watch till the end for our personal favourite selection of the three.

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
