LA MIKADO.
Depuis le lancement de la Meringue, je rêvais de réaliser une chaise.
Je l’imaginais élégante et réconfortante, douce et chaleureuse, donnant la sensation d’être sur un nuage.
Je voulais qu’elle soit parfaitement fidèle à ce que j'avais imaginé en 3D pour continuer la promesse que je me suis faite, passer du virtuel au réel. C’est avec émotion et après plus d’un an d’élaboration, que je vous présente aujourd’hui LA MIKADO. Une chaise qui porte ce nom en clin d'œil au célèbre jeu japonais et suggère la lévitation des éléments. Fabriquée en Italie, elle est conçue en frêne massif couleur cerisier et parée d'un tissu de laine bouclée.

Ever since the launch of the Meringue, I had dreamed of creating a chair. I envisioned it as elegant and comforting, soft and warm, giving the sensation of being on a cloud. I wanted it to be perfectly faithful to what I had imagined in 3D, to continue the promise I made to myself, moving from the virtual to the real world. It is with emotion, and after more than a year of development, that I present to you today THE MIKADO. A chair that bears this name as a nod to the famous Japanese game and suggests the levitation of elements. Made in Italy, it is designed in solid ash with a cherry color and adorned with a looped wool fabric.
The Mikado chair is now available, in limited edition, on http://bureaubenjamin.com.

LA ROSE.
J’ai rêvé de ce rose le premier jour où j’ai designé la Meringue, il y a tout juste un an.
Un an où j’ai dû apprendre à transformer un rêve en réalité, à passer de la 3d au monde physique, et à comprendre pourquoi ce rose ne voulait malheureusement pas tenir à la cuisson.
Après plusieurs essais de température, nous avons finalement trouvé la solution !
C’est donc avec beaucoup de plaisir que je vous annonce La meringue Rose, en édition limitée pour célébrer les un an de Bureau Benjamin, le dimanche 9 octobre à 10h.
J’ai reçu beaucoup d’amour de votre part depuis le lancement et il n’y a rien qui me remplit plus de joie et de motivation pour réaliser ce grand rêve de créer la maison de demain.
J’ai très hâte de vous dévoiler la suite de l’histoire !

I dreamed about this pink color since the very first days of the Meringue, about one year ago. During these last 12 months, I learned how to turn this dream into reality, and transform this 3D design into a physical object.
But we still had issues with the pink color. This hue was not holding through the different manufacturing steps. So we had to rethink our process, try different methods, test several temperatures, but finally it’s here.
To celebrate the first year of Bureau Benjamin, La Meringue Rose will be available as a limited edition on Sunday 9th of October at 10am (Paris time).
I have received a lot of love since the launch of this project and I am so happy to pursue this dream of building the house of tomorrow. I can’t wait to show you what’s next!
