Dear Southern University, as the 18 year old girl from Memphis, TN whom made her decision to spend the next 4 years of her life approaching the Bayou; I thank you for all the life lessons teaching me obedience, discipline, growth, leadership, and most of all to know who Christina is. Oh yes! The journey was rocky but I’m glad it wasn’t perfect. Beyond my own vision, God had everything already written and planned. I thank you for the down moments, failures even losses because it built me into the Black Queen that’s standing today. The year of 2023 was one of the most difficult and hardest years of my life where my mindset traced in a direction of wanting to Give Up but from the beauty of once entering the Jaguar Land, Southern you placed that feel in me that Jaguars fight through every battle and always stand on top. I’m proud to call myself a Jaguar & for this 4ever yours truly aka “Big Memphis” aka “The Big 901” aka “STINA”
