Moments of the opening of Home Bound ✨😍🧵
Over 10 days, Neude transforms into Home Bound as artists, craftspeople, and community groups weave diverse rope materials and their stories together to build a giant rope installation. As fibres intertwine, communities who do not typically share the same space collaborate in a choreography of knots that represents the social dialogue in the Netherlands. You’re invited to enter the woven landscape, witness the makers, learn their skills, hear their stories, or add your own hands to this growing tapestry, woven by and for Utrecht.
You can visit and participate all SPRING 2026 long!

Creator Daniel Kok: “We’re very curious to see how the group of participants in Utrecht differs from that in Naarm/Melbourne, as the two places are very different. In any case, we expect that rope, weaving and social discussions about multiculturalism, human migration and the sense of belonging will be recognisable all over the world. And that the political message behind this work is, in this way, easy to understand, yet at the same time nuanced.”

Still Lives is a performance-installation series that captures – literally through rope bondage – significant moments or movements in relation to specific cultural contexts. Each edition of Still Lives is a durational, site-responsive, and context-specific process of binding bodies and cultural objects to their place. This approach allows new conversations to emerge and unveils narratives about local history, political tensions, social connections, and personal attachments.
Still Lives: Brisbane revisits the city’s legacy of punk and counterculture, specifically referencing The Saints and their renowned single (I’m) Stranded. Instruments are bound and suspended in intricate webs of rope high in the Turbine Platform of Brisbane Powerhouse. Still Lives: Brisbane is a sonic, sculptural invocation of punk’s defiance, a tribute to the band that pioneered the modern music scene in Brisbane, and a meditation on how history lingers in the air.

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
