“Full Circle” —I wrote this piece about slowly coming out of a phase of anxiety and depression. The process was slow and took a lot of baby steps, much how like this piece slowly grows note by note. Ultimately, this piece is about joy and the steps it took for me to find it again. There’s more to it than this piano intro! I’ll be performing it soon with a string quintet and I cannot wait for you to hear the melodies I wrote for each part of the ensemble. Hear it in its entirety on May 2, 2026 at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, as part of the “Music for the Movement” fundraiser put together by @greenline_housing and @composersdiversitycollective to support their work of racial housing justice. Ticket link in bio! Hope to see you there 🫶🏽

Transition with @denthantoth
Death and rebirth is constantly unfolding within us.
The Easter period is symbolic of the relinquishment of the ego and the rebirth of the higher self.
We project into the dream.

If you’re feeling mysterious and spooky: the music that I wrote for @taga.film is now live on all music streaming platforms. (Linked in bio)

Huge thanks to these wonderful musicians who contributed to the score:
Vocals - @zosimomusic , @nicolette.santiago , @katafault
Mastering Engineer - @cholohermosa of @15dstudios

And once again thank you to @jillsachs for her creative vision and direction that made all of this possible!

The movie poster design is insane. Movie poster design and album cover art by @justinbhb 🙏🏽

Came for our film @taga.film ‘s premiere, stayed for the people 🫶🏽

Huge thank yous to our Taga leaders @jillsachs , @joyceliucountryman , and @louielouie16 for making this such a memorable Sundance. Staying up late for a midnight screening was effortless thanks to fun hangs with you and @joeyscoma , @kimadis , @lisajstarrett , @bustamantecasting , and @tara_hotchkis !

I also had the opportunity to talk more about the music for our film at the @behindthecamerahouse panel that highlighted below the line talent from remarkable films at the festival. Thank you to @impact24pr for putting it together and for your endless support. While we talked about our individual crafts, what stood out to me in our conversations was that our identities and diverse backgrounds add so much more color into the stories that we tell and it is something that we must continue to be proud of and infuse into our work. ALSO learned that there is such a thing as a pickpocket consultant?!

While I find myself often quickly drained from attending big parties, for some reason the ones that @cinema_sala throws always energizes me. The Sundance Sala brunch was no exception to that. Maybe it was the Filipino breakfast food, but I’m pretty sure it’s the community. Thanks to @mslizj for the beautiful portraits, and to @marie_jamora , @lifeofcyn , @mallorieoh , and @louielouie16 for organizing and preparing the feast!

In a sea of creatives, it was really special that @ascapscreen and @theawfc made sure to highlight the composers at the festival. Your support and encouragement keeps us going and is truly appreciated.

To top it all off, I had a 3-hour wait with @mallorieoh at the airport due to flight delays and it was the most fun I’ve had waiting for a flight. Thank you for the company (and again the food), Mal! Loved being delirious and tired with you!

New Year in Japan

Saw Mt. Fuji, ate a lot of great food, QT with the fam, squeezed into many tiny spaces, contemporary art, underground jazz, missed Biscuit a lot, and learned taiko drumming (it was a workout)!

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
