Well, I finally got to “ring the bell”, as they say in our biz. After 15 years of being a professional songwriter, and after 60+ weeks of climbing the chart, I officially have my first #1 song with “Heavens to Betsy”. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone involved who helped make this happen.

Thank you @thejacksondean and @benjydavis for taking a title in my phone and turning it into a piece of art with the power to make people heal, forgive, and move on. Y’all are both rockstars and I’m proud to call you friends.

New Guitar Town Hall @chiefsbroadway just announced for July (7/25) !! My good buddy @rayfulchermusic will be joining me this time around in the Neon Steeple. In the spirit of a true town hall I wanted to have a Q&A portion of my upcoming residency at @chiefsbroadway I’d love to be able to provide some knowledge and insight about the realities of being a songwriter in Nashville. What it takes to hone your skills, find your tribe, get your songs in front of industry professionals, and navigate publishing deals.
