MULTIPOLAR
on view since 2024 at Futurium Lab, Berlin
A kinetic system of dodecahedral structures unfolding as a molecular body in perpetual reconfiguration.
Motorized joints drive a multi axis system through continuously shifting states. Movement patterns oscillate between mechanical precision and emergent behavior, forming a spatial structure in constant transformation.
MULTIPOLAR draws on speculative form finding derived from AI driven material research: generating, testing, selecting. A process of possibility expansion and reduction translated into motion.
From molecular logic to kinetic form.
Between system and emergence.
🙏 to our amazing team:
Every decision, from cable routing to material finish, was part of a larger conversation about perception, complexity, and resonance. The collaborative energy and trust across the team were key to bringing MULTIPOLAR to life.

The installation spreads out across the room as a carpet of glass fragments.
Woven from shards collected from all over the world.
In our society, broken glass symbolizes something ominous.
Broken windows precede earthquakes. Shards are broken during riots when anger thunders against shop windows. And there is glass that is deliberately broken to stop people. Shards of glass on the tops of walls. Sharp-edged borders.
If we look at our world today, there seem to be shards everywhere.
On closer inspection, we humans don’t usually come off well.
But are we really as dark as we perceive ourselves to be?
Studies and eyewitness accounts from recent decades paint a very different picture of humanity.
The installation is based on texts by historian @RutgerBregman.
The data shows that in times of great hopelessness, people always moved closer together. The willingness to help grew.
Since the negative is louder, this is often taken as a general truth. But in times of need, the exact opposite happens.
The installation addresses the misconception that people fall into barbarism in a state of emergency.
Sven Sauer works with the stories and data from the studies in his installation.
The shards are processed in such a way that from a certain angle, a light is created that is divided a hundredfold.

The first pictures of our new installation “DEVIATION”.
Is human nature really as evil as we are told every day? Social studies analyzed after the Second World War showed that in times of need and catastrophe, people moved closer together. This feeling seems to be lost in our daily perception today. But the artwork gives an insight into the world that lies behind our dark news landscape.

I've been working on a new experimental hardware game that's played entirely inside a two-way-mirror-dodecahedron! In HYPER WOBBLER players control multi-dimensional beings by bending metal springs 🤯

Private Project: METEOR
Excited to share this video of the sound reactive mode of METEOR.
METEOR was initially built for the Kiezburn Festival on July 23, creating a mesmerizing outdoor bonfire-like experience. It served as a meeting point where people could sit, gaze inside, and lose themselves in the endless interweaving effects of the 900 programmed LEDs.
Stay tuned for upcoming updates and exciting collaborations!

I had the task to do all the missing steps from prototype to series production.
IDIT is now available in the more cargobike online store. more-cargobike.de/

Lights On!
Private Project: Meteor - 2023
This was a very special moment, the first time all 900 LEDs worked after soldering 180 connection points, wiring the ESP32, and programming it all with wled.
I built METEOR initially for Kiezburn Festival on August 23, creating a mesmerizing outdoor bonfire-like experience. It served as a meeting point where people could sit, gaze inside, and lose themselves in the endless interweaving effects of the 900 programmed LEDs.
Since then, METEOR has been featured at a few more festivals and has received upgrades, such as a sound-reactive mode to also work on dance floors and a total of 60 minutes of interchanging sequences.
Stay tuned for upcoming updates and exciting collaborations!

Project: Utility Box - 2022/2023
Was a pleasure to work on that project together with the great team from @morecargobike
The lockable utility box is made of weather-resistant polypropylene and holds 250 liters. The modern material is extremely robust and consists of 100% recycled plastic. Due to its honeycomb structure, the box is one of the lightest on the market.
In just a few months, we were able to develop a complex process for connecting this material with reliable precision for large-scale production, develop all the parts for the hinge and locking mechanism, source materials, set up the production and assembly line, and implement quality control.
Series production has been running since February 2023.

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
