Looks like Metalheart aesthetic is being rediscovered.

Back in the early 2000s I landed a job at Vir2L Studios and became part of a crew of artists and designers who were pioneers on the nascent “design internet”. Digital Abstract 3D art was the name and we played the game. A bunch of us were commissioned by Digital Vision to create digital art for the now iconic Infinity Collections bring our work to the masses and spawning a creative trend that defined design and digital visual art in the early 2000s. A moment in time.
