Experimenting with the properties of volumetric figurative expression in the Dragon Room during Milan Design Week.

The most ambitious project of its kind we’ve ever had at Sónar, ORGANYSMO by LedPulse brings the spirit of Sónar+D to Fira Gran Via this year.

Not just an installation, this architectural sculpture features thousands of LED neurons in constant motion, real-time sound design and complex visual rendering technology. Powered by over 700,000 microchips, it adapts in real-time to the presence of the audience around it, integrating them into a continuous feedback loop inside an architectural organism.

All ticket holders for Sónar 2026 will be able to experience this on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Fira Gran Via.

ORGANYSMO de LedPulse és el projecte més ambiciós d’aquest tipus que hem tingut mai a Sónar i durà enguany l’esperit de Sónar+D fins a Fira Gran Via.

Més que una simple instal·lació, aquesta escultura arquitectònica compta amb milers de neurones LED en constant moviment, disseny de so en temps real i una complexa tecnologia de renderització visual. Impulsada per més de 700.000 microxips, s’adapta en temps real a la presència del públic que l’envolta, integrant-lo en un bucle de retroalimentació continu dins d’un organisme arquitectònic.

A series of explorations and spatial experiences that stem from our curiosity for weather phenomena. Using interaction as a way to learn and immersion as a way to feel, both become ways to understand the atmosphere in a more embodied way.

We partnered with our friends at MaHalla (a special venue in Berlin) and LedPulse to bring Weather Machine to world’s most advanced volumetric LED display.

With a high density of LEDs and a custom control system, the Dragon O by LedPulse allowed us to bring the sky into the halls of MaHalla: a first step towards a fully choreographed experience where guests can influence a weather simulator and understand the impact of pressure, temperature shifts, and other variables in common weather phenomena.
