The point where forces meet; a chance of transforming. Kollide indicates an autonomous choice, and the will to grow with the uncontrollable circumstances.Kollide was created in part stimulated by conversations with students in Adult Literature Classes, and the energies within Campos community center.

Drawing from materials found in the University Settlement archives, the performance emerges through a process of research, improvisation, and collective creation.

For nearly 140 years, we’ve fought poverty and systemic inequality by building highly effective social services in collaboration with our neighbors. Established in 1886 as the first Settlement House in the United States, we bring the values of that movement into the 21st century by meeting New Yorkers where they live, listening deeply to all perspectives, and creating space for responsive cooperation. "AGAIN" is an interactive full-length play being developed based on testimonies of seniors from University Settlement's senior centers and Wellness Together participants. J, a struggling sculpture artist, must harness the remaining ancestral magic on Earth to destroy RETIREMENT.AI, a dystopian parallel universe that has robbed the world of electricity – sending Earth’s inhabitants into a screen-induced stasis.
