My personality is whatever weird film I last watched
Projects: Stagn(ant), Encephalartos
WILD ATTACK!WELT @welt_band Minneapolis hardcore comes to Lincoln. Direct support from Stagn(ant) broken rhythms turn to harsh noise scapes. Lincoln crusties Disrepair short sharp shock. Brutal head to head battle set between Mass Annihilation Now and Omaha’s Fractal Wound. Grindcore vs harsh noise back to back. Summer of battlesets, harsh noise and brutal grindcore go together like good friends. #anpproductions #lincolnnoise #grindcore #experimentalnoise

Finally was able to get EVERYTHING plugged in and playing at the same time hypothetically. I can play two record players, a VHS player , the RD-9, and my keyboard, with a 4 track recorder and pedals included. This feels like a monument I surpassed and I did it all because I got cranky when I had a headache and said to screw it and put my impulsivity into action.

Got this thing for free by asking a record store if they had any record players they didn’t like. They didn’t test it but it all works, and had the 3 way switch between cassette, record, and radio, so I can do crazy cut up sound collage stuff. This thing will be used so much in my next releases, whenever that will be. Maybe in a live performance first? 🤔
Experimenting with an extended tape loop which is two different tapes together

My last monthly release, with Beauty Underground, Bathtub Fantasy (Chapter 7). I had a lot of material and a lot of if I’m very proud of. Probably my most collage-ey work? Check it out if you’re interested!

The Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffestival of Music, Sound & Noise hits Saturday April 11 at NoiseTown Tulsa and this one is for the noise heads. Bring earplugs. Or take some of ours, we don’t want you to lose your hearing.
Open Casket Soundsystem — ONE AUX’s own Carl Antonowicz doing what he does best: scrap metal improvisations and hot takes on old classics.
Stagn(ant) — Susannah Couture rolling in from Lincoln, Nebraska with old records and analog gear to build dissonant, surreal soundscapes that feel like a dream you can’t quite shake. Harsh noise with a haunted quality.
Facade — Oklahoma’s own experimental noise rock shapeshifters. Their latest release “park(park street)street” mashes improv jazz, grindcore, power electronics, and funk rock into something that will leave you confused and potentially reeling for more. Maybe.
DCLNR — Born out of the industrial machinery and wailing manufacturing environments of Houston. Piercing feedback, aggressive vocals, low machine rumbles, and high-pitched squealing metal. “Wicker & Rust” and full length “Moreso After Death” on Burial Recordings. Overwhelming in the best possible way.
Postule — Texas harsh noise royalty (Glasgow Smile, Burial Recordings) tearing through venues across the South and leaving sonic wreckage in their wake. High intensity, unpredictable stage presence, and they put the yee-haw in Texas harsh noise. We cannot wait.
Three days, three venues, nearly 40 acts. We’ll have more lineup announcements dropping soon so stay tuned!

Stagn(ant) - Queen Edifice
---
Queen Edifice leaks upward.
A carnival corpse, bloodless, patient, threading its way through wet soil and softer things. It cracks the floor politely. It enters the head without knocking.
Stagn(ant) stretches a single 55-minute organism until it forgets it was ever music. Drone as architecture. Plundered ghosts stitched into a breathing wall.
A hotel misremembered into a fairground. Specters blink in and out of permission. A padded room: bed, nails, no explanation. A corridor coughing rust. An abandoned station where echoes rot before arriving.
Sometimes, a dead radio hit resurfaces, smiling wrong, then collapses into noise like a face sinking in tar.
This does not haunt.
It installs.
It seeps into the folds, lays something small and irreversible, not a seed, not even a thought, more like a question that dissolved mid-formation.
Queen Edifice does not end.
It remains
slightly inside you.

We’re TWO MONTHS away from this huge indoor/outdoor flea market with FREE live NOISE PERFORMERS bringing their creative talents to the outdoor stage. Don’t forget, admission is FREE!!
We’re excited to announce our second performer, Stagn (ant)!! She will be BRINGING THE NOISE with @sparepartsnoise and a couple of other performers, you don’t want to miss any of these acts…
We’ll see everyone on Saturday May 30th starting at 1:00PM

Recently released another album in my backlog of albums I’ve made in like the past 6 months! This one is more focused on sound collage, plunder dark ambient, hauntology feel (though there’s some harsh noise). I’m very proud on how it turned out and I hope yall check it out.
Edit: title is Queen Edifice

New Stagn(ant) album out now! I don’t want to describe it in any way as I want people to make their own ideas from it, but I’m very proud of it. I put a lot of effort into with many records used throughout the process.

New harsh noise vinyl I got!
I plan to do an update post of my new noise tapes I got since my last tape post, maybe tomorrow?

Hey y’all. I made this album of May last year but I private it because it wasn’t harsh noise, but I decided to make it public again! As I keep trying to focus in on making noise with records, I think this album shows the most simplistic form of that experimentation. I think there might be some value in keeping it public, I hope you find it interesting atleast.
