Today we hosted a group of digital T-Level students from @osfc_info as they visited @thesharpproject

The students found out more about the businesses based at The Sharp Project as well as career opportunities in the wider creative digital sector across Greater Manchester.

We also met the T-Level lead from @digitalnextofficial who will be facilitating some @osfc_info students on their placements next year 💻 🎧 📱

A couple of weeks ago, our students completed their Creative Digital Placement with @sharpfutures 🎉

Their final presentations, delivered to industry experts in social media, content creation, marketing, and brand identity, were nothing short of impressive. From in-depth audience research to fully developed brand identities, their ideas showed brilliant creativity and strategic thinking.

The level of detail was incredible, with students producing branded presentations, visual assets, social media videos, and even app mock-ups! 🎨

Participants can also stay connected with SharpFutures through ‘People On Demand’ (POD), a service linking creative businesses with emerging talent for projects across social media, admin, and video production. They will have the opportunity to apply, with support and feedback throughout the process.

We can't wait to see what they do next! 🚀

Last Tuesday, we accompanied our students to @sharpfutures for their Creative Digital Placement 🎬✨ This hands-on programme is all about building the skills you need to thrive in the creative industry, learning, experimenting, and gaining real experience along the way 🚀

From social media planning to getting creative with CapCut, the day was packed with opportunities to bring ideas to life, including a live mini filming briefthat gave students the chance to showcase their creativity in action! 🎨🔥

📱 Content Creatives+ is our new scheme designed to support digital creatives to progress their careers within the creative industries.

🤳 Rebecca is currently on a paid placement with @the_mob_film_co, a Global Film and TV Production Company based in Manchester, and we're thrilled to show you an glimpse into what she's been up to during her time as a Content and Production Assistant!

🎥From supporting the production team, to working across location and studio shoots, Rebecca has been developing her skills and setting herself up for a solid career in creative industry!

🎉 On Friday, we celebrated the achievements of the 2025-26 cohort of Content Creatives by inviting digital content and marketing professionals to Leeds to meet our trainees, watch a showcase of videos about their time on the scheme and network with them over lunch.

💻 This event marked the end of our 16-week training scheme, which has seen our 11 Content Creatives developing their skills and experience in content creation through bespoke training from SharpFutures and a placement with one of our partner companies in Greater Manchester or West Yorkshire.

📱 It was amazing to be able to celebrate all of the hard work and dedication they've put in throughout the scheme, and we're thrilled to see that this has enabled them to to take their next steps into the world of content creation, social media and marketing.

👏 Congratulations to this talented group of Content Creatives - we loved hearing about your experience on the scheme and we're so excited to see what you get up to next!

They’ll now appear on official marketing materials as the face of Our Pass and were interviewed live on air about their course and experience at FutureSkills — representing the college with confidence and professionalism.

The feedback has been fantastic, with exciting plans for future collaboration already underway.
