At Coachella, Tom Sutherland of @dx7design and the team at @prg.north.america did something that's becoming rare. They built a world and let it breathe. Scene by scene, layer by layer, #VLHive151 fixtures giving Labrinth's set a cinematic, architectural quality that held from the first cue to the last.

Anyone remember the first time they saw a moving light in a concert??

For a lot of people, it goes back to 1981 when Genesis took the stage in Barcelona with the Vari-Lite Series 100 system.

The first time automated moving head luminaires were ever seen in concert.

We don't just remember it. We created it, and we’ve been building on that ever since.
