Τα Οστά κάτω από το Χιόνι: Η Ανατομία της Σιωπής στους «Λύκους» του Στέλιου Μωραϊτίδη ❄️🦴
Υπάρχει μια παγωνιά που δεν έχει να κάνει με τον καιρό, αλλά με την άρνηση μιας κοινότητας να κοιτάξει το παρελθόν της. Στην ταινία «Οι Λύκοι Επιστρέφουν» (The Wolves Return), ο Στέλιος Μωραϊτίδης στήνει ένα κλινικό ψυχογράφημα πάνω σε έναν παγωμένο δρόμο, όπου η οδοποιία φέρνει στην επιφάνεια ανθρώπινα οστά.

Εμπνευσμένος από μια είδηση στη Σιβηρία, αλλά με βαθιές αναφορές στα τραύματα της ελληνικής ιστορίας —από τον Εμφύλιο μέχρι την προσφυγική κρίση— ο σκηνοθέτης (απόφοιτος της Σορβόννης) χαρτογραφεί πώς οι κοινωνίες κατασκευάζουν ψευδείς μνήμες για να επιβιώσουν.

Με ένα εξαιρετικό καστ (Β. Κουκαλάνι, Λ. Κιτσοπούλου, Π. Ιορδανόπουλος, Θ. Δόβρης), η ταινία απέσπασε τα βραβεία Καλύτερης Ελληνικής Ταινίας (ΠΕΚΚ) και Ήχου στη Δράμα, ενώ ταξίδεψε στο Tampere. Στο φετινό Psarokokalo ISFF, οι «Λύκοι» μάς υπενθυμίζουν ότι το παρελθόν δεν είναι ποτέ νεκρό· δεν είναι καν παρελθόν.

Bones in the Snow: The Anatomy of Silence in "The Wolves Return" 🐺🌨️
There is a particular chill that has less to do with the weather and more to do with a community’s refusal to face its history. In "The Wolves Return", director Stelios Moraitidis crafts a sharp autopsy of collective guilt when rural roadworks unearth human remains.

Inspired by a haunting report from Siberia but deeply rooted in regional traumas—from civil war mass graves to the Mediterranean crisis—the Sorbonne alumnus examines how communities fabricate distorted memories to preserve social cohesion.

Led by a powerhouse cast (V. Koukalani, L. Kitsopoulou, P. Iordanopoulos, T. Dovris), the film arrives at Psarokokalo ISFF decorated with the Best Greek Film (PEKK) and Best Sound awards from Drama ISFF, following its run at Tampere. A striking reminder that the past is never truly buried.

Inspired by real events surrounding the 2021 Kabul evacuation, this six-episode series is a collaboration between leading European networks, including France Télévisions, RAI, and COSMOTE TV.
