Entering the world of 510 Pyro developer!

I’ve been looking for a way to develop some of my black and white film at home, with a developer that’s less toxic and harmful on the environment. (This, once mixed and diluted is as close as you can get to pouring your morning coffee down the drain.. So I’ve heard) short of making photo chemistry out of crushed up cloves, coffee or a bunch of dead leaves (which I’m not about to start doing!) this seems to be the best solution and I’m seeing some incredible results from this developer!

Loaned to me by my brother in-law to test out as he was having a clear out of his passed father’s belongings, wanting to know if there is any value in the camera to sell. Although a Photavit Photina Reflex is not a collectors item, like a Rollei, it can be had for around £120. You would be hard pressed to say this can’t produce amazing images!

This shot of Matilda is with no filter, shaded midday sun, and on Ilford FP4 Plus which expired in June 2023, the film not the dog. 🐕

I just so happen to have my FujiG617 pano camera with me.
I just so happen to have that camera loaded with film pushed to 1600 for hand a held shot.
Love to capture a moments like this where the panorama aspect really comes into play.
