Do I smell synthesizers?

Finding my favourite combos on the @udo_audio DMNO. Still deep into Cascade where one DMNO is fed into the other for double filtering, whilst the oscillators of the second are only single filtered.
A twist is to use the feedback option to run the output back into DMNO 1 and then add some harmonic distortion in the FX section. Careful with the levels otherwise it's a screamfest. :)

Testing one out that's been repaired and thought it would be fun to double sequence the MS-20 for polymetric shenanigans.

This is the Korg X-911 controlled by guitar (as originally intended) and it's the goofiest thing Korg made in the 70s.

Korg's Silliest Synth
I've tried about 4 of these things over the years and they have such a daft sound that I almost like them, but even for my vintage taste, it's a bit too silly.
The X-911 is a guitar synth from 1979 and you can run a guitar through it and control the onboard synth voices with pitch to CV, but that's even wonkier than what you're hearing. It's like the ESP on the MS-20, but somehow worse.
What's a synth you should like on paper, but don't in practice?
