amazing resonant capture of LP 6 by my brother @thomas0m0 who I’m so grateful to for understanding the record enough to capture it with such accuracy. this was one of many covers sent that were incredible. can’t recommend tapping in with him enough

it’s with much pleasure that i announce that bridge of sand. LP6 titled no fiction is complete and will be released on June 12th . it’s a short offering but a full encapsulation of the time, memories and feelings that were around during it’s ruminated creation.
not the most fun times but necessary. however it is still a genuine work with gut spilling songs and i hope you all enjoy when it releases.
a single titled high tonite will be released this sunday. also, this is not the final cover art thankfully. cheers as always 🪽

the first of a couple of pieces i've been working on about AI generation in music is now live in the latest issue of @newfeelingcoop : i contrast “instant” AI music generation with sampling and think through why AI risks erasing the history and human relationships that give music meaning. I spoke w/ two artists whose use of sampling is at the root of their musical practice and learned a lot about the way sampling informs their work. thanks for chatting with me @thee_ruiner and @bridgeofsand!
