We warmly congratulate Khaled Sabsabi and Michael Dagostino on the opening of their presentation ‘conference of one’s self’ at the Australia Pavilion for the International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia.

Khaled Sabsabi uses moving image, sound, painting, and installation to explore human collectiveness, the complexities of identity politics, and the impact of ideology. Informed by his lived experience and tasawwuf (Sufi) lineage and spiritual teachings, he uses repetition, rhythm and duration throughout his practice as tools for engagement and contemplation. Sabsabi says, ‘I firmly believe that a shared humanity has always relied upon our sense of imagination. I make art that creates possibilities to push limits and question perceptions of who we are.’

Exhibition dates: May 9 – November 22 2026

Khaled Sabsabi presents ‘conference of one’s self’, curated by Michael Dagostino at the Australia Pavilion, located in the Giardini della Biennale, as a part of the Biennale Arte 2026, commissioned by Creative Australia.

Dubbing herself “Australia’s Badeśt,” Veronica Peter aka @vvpete is leading the way for the next generation of Australian rap, driven by her roots in Mount Druitt and an unmatched confidence that has seen her take over global cultural institutions like Berghain's Panorama Bar and the Sydney Opera House.

Fresh from their debut European tour, we chatted with Vv and her producer @utilitycatalogue (née Austin Benjamin) about unexpected collaborations, touring abroad and staying grounded as Varvie World & @trackwork_ goes global.

Creative Australia and Writing Australia join the arts sector and readers alike in mourning the passing of David Malouf AO, one of Australia’s most significant and widely admired writers.

David Malouf’s work traversed fiction, poetry, essays, memoir and opera libretti, distinguished by its lyrical precision and morality. His novels include Johnno, An Imaginary Life, The Great World, Remembering Babylon, Conversations at Curlow Creek and Ransom, works that explore identity, displacement, memory and belonging across landscapes that ranged from suburban Brisbane to the ancient classical world.

David Malouf was a generous advocate for Australian culture and a mentor for new writers. He articulated, with clarity and conviction, the value of the arts to civic life and national identity and was influential in strengthening the place of artists within public policy and cultural institutions.

Wenona Byrne, Director Writing Australia said:
“David Malouf was a writer of rare grace and authority. His work expanded how Australians see themselves and how we are seen by the world. He brought depth, humanity and intellectual courage to everything he wrote, and his legacy will continue to inspire readers and writers for generations.”

Professor Sarah Holland-Batt, Writing Australia Council said:

“David Malouf is a lodestar to generations of Australian poets and writers inspired by the genius of his imagination. Across his immense and dazzling oeuvre—spanning poetry, fiction, memoir, essays, libretti and more—he offered up fresh ways of reimagining Australia and its place in the world. At the same time, he was relentlessly cosmopolitan, reaching across time and space to engage profoundly with the classics, history, art, music, and philosophy. Beyond his peerless erudition and brilliance, he was also deeply beloved for his warmth, grace, humanity, and his extraordinary generosity to younger writers in whose works he retained a keen and abiding interest. His writing has enriched and expanded our literature and culture beyond measure, and through his gifts, we have better understood and imagined our own lives.”

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
