Congratulations to Harvard Professor Jill Lepore, who received the Pulitzer Prize in History for her book "We the People: A History of the U.S. Constitution" 🎉

The Pulitzer Board called her work "a lively and engaging narrative that investigates why the Constitution is so difficult to amend."

Mattea Conforti is a Harvard College student, but she's also Becka Grove in Hulu's “The Testaments,” the sequel to “The Handmaid’s Tale."

It was during her biotech ethics course that she got the call telling her she'd landed the role. “I was crying because I was just so happy," she recalled. "Then I had to go back into my lecture and continue taking notes.”

Acting since she was young, Mattea starred as “Matilda” on Broadway when she was 9. She's also played Young Anna in “Frozen” on Broadway, and performed the voice of Young Elsa in the “Frozen 2" movie.

While on campus, she likes studying in the many coffee shops in Harvard Square, and looks forward to the Harvard-Yale game each year. Although she hasn’t yet declared a concentration, she's interested in psychology, government, and Theater, Dance & Media.

“I’ve never been in such a motivating and passionate environment,” she says of Harvard. “There are people I would have never even dreamed of meeting without coming to school here. It’s a blessing to be here.”

Is there a sustainable and low-cost way to detect waste oil levels in remote Arctic communities? For her senior capstone project, Brooke developed a cold-resilient leak detection system for standard 55-gallon waste oil drums. After months of designing and testing, her final prototype can detect very small leaks and continue working in extremely cold conditions.

The system is aimed at helping rural communities that often lack robust waste management support. By creating a solution that fits into existing routines, Brooke hopes to reduce environmental risk without adding extra burden to communities.

Growing up in Brazil, Luiza recalls walking past children her age living on the streets of her native Sao Paulo and wondering why they went hungry and she did not.

“I didn’t understand why I had access to food and other children my age didn’t, and that didn’t make sense in my head at the time,” Luiza said. “Injustice was something that always shaped my path and I wanted to do something about that.”

Luiza intended to pursue medical school, but changed course after being diagnosed with a neuromuscular condition called myasthenia gravis. The autoimmune condition causes muscle weakness, particularly in the face, arms, and legs and led Luiza to shift her academic priorities.

After receiving her bachelor's degree, Luiza took a job at Action for Boston Community Development as the organization’s health and nutrition services manager. Her experiences there piqued her interest in learning how large-scale programs and government policy might help different populations.

In 2024, Luiza enrolled at the Harvard Chan School and spent the next 18 months learning not just about nutrition, but also about policy and how important it is to creating systemic change.

Nearly 7 years after her diagnosis, Luiza is revisiting her goal of attending medical school.

“I’ve decided I’m going to medical school and I wanted to take time to focus on this next step,” she said. “We should not give up on pursuing our dreams even as challenges arise. Staying true to yourself while taking care of your body is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others."

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
