Whose bodies are allowed to be visible?
Whose histories are told and whose are erased?

Pleas of Resistance positions queerness as a space of resistance, care, and collective memory.

Spanning over 25 years, @carlosalejandromotta’s work engages with queer desire, self-representation, and silenced histories challenging dominant narratives and reclaiming visibility.

Curated by @agustin.perezrubio & @susannewatzenboeck
An exhibition by @macba_barcelona, realized in collaboration with @ok_linz.

🧵 GLUMPERT – Sustainable fashion as safe space 🐌

In the new exhibition GLUMPERT at OK Linz, Austrian designer @peterfellner links reused everyday objects with queer symbolism and sustainable strategies. Curated by @sandrakratochwill, Fellner questions mainstream fashion norms and opens space for new forms of identity.

Whether it’s embroidered pictures, crocheted doily, scarves or umbrellas - they retain visible traces of the past and transform the ordinary into something valuable. The snail becomes a symbol of fluidity, slowness, and a safe space. Through a specifically developed zero-waste-draping-system and the sustainability strategy repurpose, fashion becomes visible, political, and poetic.

📅 Opening: Fri, March 6, 2026 – 6 PM RSVP via anmeldung@ooelkg.at

🖤 Curator’s Perspective: AIDS, Activism & Queer History
In this reel, curator @susannewatzenboeck takes us into the heart of Pleas of Resistance and into one of its most powerful chapters.

Legacy (2019) traces the lives lost to AIDS and honours those who carried the politics of care, through exhaustion, and resistance. The Void (2020) is an AIDS counter-monument by @koray_duman , @tedkerr , and @carlosalejandromotta. (2020) to the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Together, these works ask: what does it mean to remember? Who gets to be remembered? And how does memory itself become a political act?

Carlos Motta. Pleas of Resistance
Curated by @agustin.perezrubio & @susannewatzenboeck
An exhibition by @macba_barcelona, realized in collaboration with @ok_linz.

📅 Until September 13, 2026 (Tue–Sun & public holidays, 10:00–18:00)

🏳️‍🌈 A flag made by the community – revealed this Sunday.

On May 24, we're opening our doors for the very first OPEN SUNDAY at OK Linz – a free, open space for everyone in the city. Every Sunday this summer, voestalpine OPEN SPACE becomes a meeting place where ideas, communities, and perspectives come together: through workshops, performances, talks, and spontaneous moments. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.

🧵 And this first Sunday holds something extra special:
At 15:00, we'll be revealing our Community Flag – a giant, colorful symbol of unity and lived diversity, sewn over several months by members of Linz's queer community and their allies. ✨ Every stitch, color, and motif tells a story of the people who made it. Now it's finally time to unveil it together.

A projekt by artist @peterfellner for his "Glumpert" exhibition at OK Linz.

📅 Sunday, May 24, Flag reveal at 15:00
📍 OK Linz – voestalpine OPEN SPACE
🎟️ Free admission

See you there 🖤🌈

Heteronormative dress codes are based on long-established ideas about how bodies should appear. They assign clothing to gender and reinforce clear distinctions between what is considered “masculine” and “feminine.”

In GLUMPERT, @peterfellner questions these structures. By working with repurposed materials and unconventional forms, the exhibition opens up space for garments that move beyond fixed categories. ✂️

Clothing here is not defined by gender, but by possibility. It is shaped through fluid silhouettes, soft volumes, and a continuous process of transformation. 🪡

Rather than following rules, GLUMPERT invites a closer look at how dress codes are constructed and how they can shift.

The Void (2020) is an AIDS counter-monument by @koray_duman , @tedkerr , and @carlosalejandromotta. 🖤

The wall painting shows two large triangles: one black and yellow, the other pink and red. Inspired by Milton Glaser’s logo, created for the UN during the early AIDS crisis, the work refers to histories of queer liberation, reflection, performative action, and community discussion around HIV.

The two geometric forms also echo modernist and minimalist public sculpture, especially Agnes Martin’s Untitled #1 (2003). Originally proposed for the High Line Plinth in New York but not selected, The Void was consequently adapted in various institutional contexts. ✨

On this combined tour, we move between Pleas of Resistance and GLUMPERT and explore how resistance, visibility and identity are negotiated in radically different yet resonant ways.

In Pleas of Resistance, @carlosalejandromotta unfolds more than twenty-five years of practice in which visibility becomes a political strategy. ✊ Through video, installation, performance and photography, he researches silenced histories and centers the struggles of sexual, gender and ethnic minority communities. Structured in four intersectional chapters, the exhibition links pre-Hispanic homoeroticism, queer liberation, acts of self-determination beyond the human, and collaborative rewritings of history that challenge dominant narratives.

In GLUMPERT, @peterfellner transforms used everyday materials such as embroidered fabrics, lace doilies and umbrellas into garments that carry visible traces of their past. 🧵 The symbol of the snail runs through the collection as a sign of fluidity and queer temporality. 🐌 A zero-waste cutting technique questions speed, consumption and heteronormative dress codes. Fashion becomes Safe Space, body politics and a performative negotiation of identity.

🌀 GOLDEN RATIO
The snail serves as inspiration due to its spiral shape, which reflects the golden ratio (around 1.618). The zero-waste draping system used in the GLUMPERT collection is based on this principle of proportions, enabling balanced, harmonious shapes without the need for taking classic measurements.

Austrian designer @peterfellner transforms everyday materials such as embroidered pictures, crocheted doilies, scarves, and umbrellas into wearable works of art in his GLUMPERT collection.

Curator: Sandra Kratochwill @sandrakratochwill

In the small chapel on OK Platz, a video by @carlosalejandromotta is on view: Réquiem. Inverted World (2016). 🎥

Together with bondage artists @stefano.laforgia.rm and Andrea Ropes, @carlosalejandromotta performs an inversion inside a sixteenth-century chapel. The action refers to Caravaggio’s Crucifixion of Saint Peter (1600) and questions the stories around Christ’s death and resurrection.

The work is part of Réquiem, a series of three videos exploring the difficult relationship between religion and dissident sexualities. Through new images and fictions, the series looks at the body as sexualised, queer, political and poetic. ✨

Curated by @agustin.perezrubio & @susannewatzenboeck
An exhibition by @macba_barcelona, realized in collaboration with @ok_linz.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
