Our team did it again! We worked incredibly hard to secure $15.7 million for 15 community projects in every corner of the 12th District for important infrastructure upgrades, lead service line replacement, home repair, workforce development, affordable housing, and so much more.

ICE is terrorizing our communities with military-grade assault rifles & tear gas. For decades, our neighbors in Southwest Detroit have warned us that they're too militarized. They're right. Stop funding them.

We’ve brought home $19,254,097 for 14 community projects in Detroit! This funding will improve the lives of our neighbors by providing home repairs, affordable housing, lead abatement, flood recovery resources, workforce development, and access to affordable health care.

We’ve also funded projects throughout the 12th District. We secured $17.1 million for 15 community projects for lead removal, home repairs, affordable housing, flood recovery resources, and more! Since I’ve been in Congress, we’ve brought home over $52 million in community project funding for our residents.

Happy 61st birthday to Head Start! For decades, Head Start has helped millions of children learn, grow, and thrive. Congress should build on that success by passing the Head Start for America's Children Act to expand access to more than 11 million eligible children nationwide.
