As we celebrate the first year of the papacy of Pope Leo XIV, members of the Villanova community reflect on what this historic moment has meant for the world, the Catholic Church and our University.

May 8, 2025, will forever be etched in the hearts and minds of the Villanova community. On this day, Pope Leo XIV was named the leader of the global Catholic Church. One year later, we pause to reflect on what this historic moment has meant for the world, the Church and, in a singular way, Villanova.

"Music at Mendel" turned Mendel Field into the place to be last Friday. With food trucks, warm weather and MKTO performing fan favorites, students came together for a chance to unwind before finals began.
