maybe there’s no such thing as being ready for a relationship. maybe all that matters is if you’re willing to make it work
what do you think?
this is why lumon has lockers…
ok but who watched that severance season finale though?! ⬇️

Last week I made this fake movie poster in response to Hallmark’s mahjong movie announcement and it got quite the response. It got me wondering how much of the online outrage was real and how many ppl would put their money where their mouth is,because that’s ultimately what it comes down to. If yt people will pay to watch a MJ movie starring themselves as leads, then they are entitled to that. And if Asian Americans won’t, then we can’t really say anything.
So I put out a little idea to see how many people would back it up and it seems like there’s some very real interest and support. So “for fun” let’s ACTUALLY think about the possibility.
1. Typical Hallmark movie have $1-2M budgets. Is it realistic that our lil indie social channel could raise that? Not likely. Ok, so what would be actually attainable?
2. $10k, pretty confident. That could produce a hearty sketch. $50k? It’d be scrappy (as WF does) but that could be a pretty long short film. I highly doubt we could raise more than that, but who knows? We raised almost 400k for our last feature length film.
3. Realistically, a full movie about Catan can’t happen anyway because it’s an IP that we don’t own the rights to, so at most we’re making a fan-film that we release for free.
4. Most importantly, EVEN if we did raise a substantial amount of money, should it be placed toward this “rebuttal” idea with AsianAms leading a romcom about Catan? Or should it be spent on an actual MJ movie for us because that’s what this whole uproar is about?
Whether or not we actually do this, I love the enthusiasm and I love that this shows how much this audience and community we have here through Wong Fu’s years are still very active and vocal. There will be a time when we will call on your support for something tangible and real as we’ve done in the past. Our goal is to continue making films that uplift and center Asian Americans. We’re in a different era of content (we’re a long way from Youtube circa 2011) but just know that our goals and mission statement have not changed.
Let us know in the comments or vote what you think we should do IF we actually tried this. And Happy AANHPI+ Month!

When you haven’t seen a regular in a long time and they finally come back. 🥹🥹🥰 Welcome home @juncurryahn

I mean. It’s only fair. They take mahjong, we take one of theirs. @hallmarkchannel let’s talk. This is the only way to make things right. Your move. Just don’t roll a 7!
@hwuwu @kihonglee @heybvp Surprise, you’re in this movie. And @chanman325 @bensonq y’all are directing and producing k thx!
This movie is insulting and problematic in so many ways, but I hope this wakes everyone up to what we’re really up against in this country. A sobering reality check that we can easily lose our most prized cultural possession to a White majority that has gotten way too comfortable lately, so we need to actually DO something about it. Not just leave angry instagram comments.
@satschoolstudios is set on being that real action that we desperately need. Follow along to join the journey and movement.
Who remembers all of these? This video coulda been like 3 hrs long, like an actual Coachella set. What a ride it’s been. 🥹🥰
This has been on my mind for awhile now after seeing a pattern in our Asian American filmmakers who get their breakout moment. How do we retain our community’s talent for ourselves to build upon? This is the only way to make substantial progress and create real control in this industry.

Just a little fan appreciation post. This gentleman came up to me last week and told me that @wongfupro videos are the reason why he got a second date, and now they’re married. I didn’t believe him at first, or thought he was being hyperbolic, but then he brought his wife over and she confirmed that it was when they started talking about Wong Fu that the date shifted. Lol. I was so glad I could be there that day to cross paths with them.
I run into fans almost every time I’m at @bopomofocafe and it’s honestly a big reason why I love what we’ve built so much, because it’s given me a physical space to meet so many ppl from all over the world and hear their personal stories about what WF’s work did for them. From first dates, to getting them through tough times, to making them feel seen.. it warms my heart and honestly inspires and motivates me to keep going despite how difficult things get. I know that we have a connection that so unique because it’s already decades deep for many of you.
Often times I’ll hear, “We have a picture from when you came to my school (15 yrs ago)” or “I’ve been watching since I had to download each video”. This is so incredibly special and I’m grateful to each and every one of you who I got to shared MY stories and life with.
Please, never hesitate to say Hi if you see me at the cafe, or anywhere. (except a restroom.. which has happened many times lol) I will always be glad to meet you and hear your individual story about WF. And incase we don’t meet, tell me in the comments below!

New sketch on our channel! Had so much fun bringing friends together for this quick sketch. We first met @itsseansolo last summer and knew the next time he came back to LA we had to shoot something together. Super lucky @chloe.shih and @kihonglee were down to come through! Super talented group to shoot with 🥰 Felt like old WF collab days. Love doing these kinds of crossovers that no one was expecting!

How lucky we were to catch these two at @unforgettableawards just a week before the Oscars! So proud of these two @arden_cho @kevinwoo_official on their historic win. It’s inspiring to see Arden’s rise from when we first met back in 2010 through so many twists and turns. Kevin, we were fortunate enough to collab with when he moved to LA, finding out he was a fellow NorCal kid who loved WF. And fun fact, Slide 3, @wongfuphil played a small voice role in @appelhansc’s Wish Dragon which he made right before KPDH. [Another fun fact, but the other guy in the photo is Aaron Warner, creator of Shrek, which also won an Oscar for best Animated film (fun fun fact, he was the first person ever to win that award as it was created in 2001 🤯)]
This industry is a wild place and ride! Keep on pushing and working toward your dreams!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
