The daughter of image architect @misahylton, Madison blended fashion and music in looks styled by @torebelinink.

Did you know that April 11th - 17th is Black Maternal Health Week? This years theme is Rooted in Justice and Joy, and in the spirit of celebrating our collective power here’s a throwback of Black Wombs Are Crying, But No One Is Listening — A Black Maternal Health event produced by Tanaya Muslim and The Douglass Black Student Congress at Rutgers University.

It was an honor to speak at this event, and share my experience as a Certified Full Spectrum Doula, with these brilliant ladies. I look forward to continuing the work of creating a safer and more equitable birthing experience for mothers everywhere.

For The Girls isn’t just an anthem, it’s a way of life that’s embodied in my overall being, my message and movement. 🩷 Lets work!
