My old thimble was made from artificial leather — scraps of something old, given a new purpose. It did its job well. Now it has holes and all, it stayed with me until it couldn’t anymore.
The new one is made of metal and denim. Hopefully Sturdier. Built to last longer than the last.
But the old one isn’t going anywhere. It earned its rest. 🪡
Still learning. Still stitching.

We’ve all been there — favourite jeans, worn out, and that sad moment of “I guess these are done.”
But what if they didn’t have to be?
These are my first ever sashiko mended jeans. After long long hours of practice, it’s finally showing up — and honestly, this is just the beginning.
Sashiko mending turns that moment into something else entirely. A little thread, a little time, and suddenly your most worn-in, perfectly broken-in jeans are back — except now they carry a character no store-bought pair ever could.
